Joe Freifeld is a Winston Salem, North Carolina based freelance photographer.

Throughout my life I have always had a passion for capturing those once in a lifetime moments - moments which make a new mom smile, a woman shed a tear of joy on her wedding day, a child happily distracted by their own imagination.  Life is a journey and these are the real moments of life that must be captured.

A photographer should capture moments which tell a story.  That is what I strive for with each and every shoot.  In school, I loved the dark room and spent 4 years immersed in photojournalism, winning State Awards.  I photographed everything from portraits, sports and events.  Years later my career turned more towards the creative, with web and graphic design, but I always came back to my love of photography. 

Professional Digital Photography has changed the landscape of photography as it allows the photographer to focus on his clients desires and technically make it happen.  The artistic and technical relationship is symbiotic;  without one, the other will fail.  My years of experience with both components enables me to focus on the most important element, to understand your desires and expectations for every session.
